I have been trying to image the constellation Orion for some time with my Nikon D750 Astro- modified camera and a 50 mm lens. It requires a very dark skies to capture details as otherwise the ambient light will wipe it all out. This image was an attempt to capture Orion rising with a landscape. In retrospect the atmosphere was still too thick for great detail. Still one of my best full Orion images to date.
