Meteor

This image was one of series I had planned to capture with the moon and M45. This is actually a night where nothing went right and I was really unable to take the image I had planned in my head. I was hoping to capture the crescent moon and M45 as they rose together in the north eastern Sky. In fact the moon was simply too bright, and washed out most of the details I was hoping to capture with M45.
At least I caught a pretty large meteor along the way!
I also love this 60s exposure because I also captured the flashing red lights of the nearby windmills. Nikon D7000 Nikon 50m lens f/1.4 ISO 1000 August 2 2021
